Terms of Service

These Terms and Conditions govern your access to and use of EdgeDex, including our website, features, and related services. By creating an account, subscribing, or otherwise using EdgeDex, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, you should not use the service.

1) Service purpose and user responsibility

EdgeDex provides model-based analytics tools for comparing Pokemon sealed products and singles. The service is designed to help users interpret market data more consistently, not to provide personalized financial or investment advice.

Metrics, labels, and outputs (including items such as model signal, acceptable buy, acceptable sell, and timing estimates) are informational model outputs based on available data and assumptions. They are not guarantees, and they should not be treated as promises of future performance.

You remain fully responsible for your own decisions, purchases, sales, and risk management.

2) Subscriptions and billing

EdgeDex offers subscription-based access to certain features. Paid plans are billed on a recurring basis (for example, monthly) until canceled.

By starting a paid subscription, you authorize recurring charges through our payment provider. Your plan renews automatically at the end of each billing cycle unless canceled before renewal.

You can manage or cancel your subscription through your account billing tools. Cancellation stops future renewals but does not reverse the current active billing period.

3) Refunds and disputes

Subscription fees are non-refundable once a billing period has started, except where required by applicable law.

If you believe there is a billing issue, you agree to contact EdgeDex support first and give us a reasonable opportunity to review and resolve the matter before initiating a chargeback, payment dispute, reversal, or similar claim through your payment provider.

We may suspend or terminate access where repeated or bad-faith disputes are raised without first contacting support. If a dispute or chargeback is found to be false, abusive, or fraudulent, you agree to reimburse EdgeDex for resulting costs, including processor fees, penalties, and reasonable recovery expenses to the extent permitted by law.

4) Data sources and API-based pricing data

EdgeDex displays pricing and related market information sourced from third-party providers and APIs. We do not claim ownership of that underlying third-party market data.

Because external APIs and data providers can have delays, gaps, format changes, or occasional inaccuracies, displayed values may be incomplete, stale, or later corrected. Timing differences can occur between pages during refresh windows.

For users, this means EdgeDex should be treated as a decision-support platform for comparison and analysis, not as a guaranteed real-time execution feed. You should always verify important prices and listing details directly on source marketplaces before acting.

5) Acceptable use

EdgeDex is provided for your personal, lawful use. You may not copy, scrape, extract, republish, resell, redistribute, reverse engineer, or repurpose EdgeDex data, content, outputs, or system behavior in a way that competes with, harms, or undermines EdgeDex.

You also agree not to use bots, automation, or technical workarounds to bypass access controls, rate limits, feature gates, or subscription restrictions.

6) Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, EdgeDex and its operators are not liable for losses arising from use of the service, including reliance on price estimates, evaluations, model signals, rankings, alerts, or any other output.

We are not liable for user decisions to buy, sell, hold, grade, or otherwise transact, nor for any investment, trading, opportunity, or consequential losses.

7) Indemnity

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless EdgeDex and its operators from and against claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your misuse of the service, breach of these Terms, infringement of rights, or unlawful conduct.

8) Changes to terms and service availability

We may update these Terms from time to time. Where appropriate, we will notify users of material updates. By continuing to use EdgeDex after updated Terms become effective, you agree to the revised Terms.

We aim to keep EdgeDex available and reliable, but we may modify, suspend, or discontinue features at any time, including for maintenance, security, legal, or operational reasons. The service may also be unavailable from time to time.

9) Eligibility and account termination

You must be at least 18 years old to use EdgeDex.

We may suspend, restrict, or terminate accounts at any time where we reasonably believe a user has breached these Terms, misused the service, or created legal, security, or operational risk.
